My Artistic Evolution with Fine Art Photographic Prints
My passion for printing my own photographs started in the 1990s, a pivotal time in the evolution of printmaking, when the first color inkjet printers became available. However, during those early years, there was a significant drawback: the inks didnโt last and faded in just a few years. This all changed dramatically with the introduction of carbon-based pigment inks. These inks offered longevity that was previously unattainable.
Now, the long-lasting prints I produce can endure more than a lifetime, showcasing colors that are not only lifelike but also reflective of my artistic vision. Through my journey in printmaking evolution, I have created numerous fine art prints, each telling its own unique story.

AN INTERVIEW WITH MYSELF
How and why did I decide to become an artist?
It was an evolution for me. I always felt since my early childhood that I was an artist of some sort. I also felt that I have something to say, something that nobody else can say. However, I really started calling myself an artist and believing it around ten years ago. That is when I realized that I am exploring my feelings and emotions through my art. I also started to notice that other people were connecting with my art and that gave me extra motivation to do it professionally.

T O D A Y | TRIPLE EXPOSURE PHOTOGRAPH
Inspired by the current events in Ukraine. This triple exposure was taken today behind Sibelius museum along the river in Turku, Finland. First two images are of the giant old oak tree and the third one is the stone retaining wall of the building. I combined these images in situ and accidentally noticed how the colors match the flag of Ukraine.

Parliament Building Eduskuntatalo ๐ซ๐ฎ
I was hired by the Finnish parliament to photograph the interiors of the newly renovated parliament building. The renovation was completed just in time for the opening of the autumn term of the Parliament in September of 2017. The meticulous and complete renovation and Finland's centennial gave me a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of this special year with my photography. #suomi-100

A LITTLE LOVE ๐
In dance the physical movement and manifestation of inner feelings via choreography become moments of expression in a photograph. Dancing is fluid and a still image is frozen. However, the feeling remains.
